Materials: Canvas (16" x 20") and Oils
I really like how this came out.
The self-portrait was finished a week before I did the spirit-bird. I had several ideas for what to put above my head in the painting, but none of them seemed quite right, until I came home really depressed one night and out of the blue painted the owl / hawk spirit hovering over my head.
I seem to do my best work when I'm down.
